Overview

The KAUST Visualization Core Lab (KVL), in collaboration with Thermo Fisher, is pleased to announce three half-day workshops on introductory and advanced use of the AVIZO Visualization Suite - a multi-platform data analysis and scientific visualization tool. This workshop will be led by engineers from Thermo Fisher, the developers of the software. Attendees will participate in tutorials, hands-on sessions, and discussions with the engineers on working with AVIZO. Topics will include data visualization, quantitative analysis, image processing & segmentation, 3D reconstruction, and machine learning applications.

AVIZO is available for use at the Visualization Core Laboratory and throughout the campus through IT provided workstations and laptops.

This is event is open to all KAUST community and staff.

Who Should Attend?

If your research involves visualization and analysis of 2D and 3D datasets such as microscopy image stacks (e.g., CT, SEM, TEM, or Confocal, etc.), this workshop will help you acquire new insight into your data.
