How Do I Acknowledge the KVL's Contributions in My Work?
- If we have been integral to your work, co-authorship is appreciated.
- If we provided facilities, advice, or basic visualizations, the following acknowledgment is requested:
“This work [or part of this work] was conducted using resources and services at the Visualization Core Lab at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Specifically, we thank [first name] [last name] for their support in creating the visualizations for this manuscript.”

How Can I Share My Data with KVL for Support?
Pick whichever of these is easiest for you.
- Copy it to a KVL scratch directory on Ibex
/ibex/tmp/kvl— note that data here is automatically purged after 60 days.
- Copy it to a KVL scratch directory on Shaheen
/scratch/tmp
- Send us a share link to your own storage
- Share the data from OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or DataWaha and send us the link. Please make sure the link grants us access.
- Upload it to us directly
- Send files to KVL — our Dropbox file request, no Dropbox account needed.
- Hand us physical media
- USB drive or external hard drive.
- Email it
- Email us if none of the above are possible. Best for small files only.
