Overview
KAUST PhD student, Ali Al Ibrahim, presented a poster at the 12th International Cretaceous Symposium in Leibniz University, Hannover, Germany from August 31 - September 5, 2025. The symposium takes place once every 4 years and covers the latest advances in Cretaceous geological research combining topics from sedimentology, paleontology and geochemistry. Ali presented a poster entitled “Micro-CT and Holographic Imaging of Late Cretaceous Benthic Foraminifera in Saudi Arabia” whicjoint work with KVL on imaging and visualization of foraminifera samples.
